At 1:19pm officers of the Downtown Division were dispatched to an attempted robbery. An unidentified woman reported the crime occurring at the Westside stop of the Downtown tram line. Officers learned the woman had turned to find a male party going through her belongings. A physical altercation ensued, but the woman was not injured during the struggle. A security camera on the East/West Bridge captured the assailant in the act. Any information as to his whereabouts, please call the crime catcher hotline at 866-bad-bust.
