Though Tom had very good intentions of fighting to change the system...holding 2 cops who refused to wear their standard issue hats at thumbpoint was not his best idea ever. I'm definitely on his side...but sadly, I didn't get out my free thumb and help cover him :( At least he's going out with double fingers blazing...wtg Tom.

In honor of Tom, I hope to someday be able to share my full set of 'NYPD Cops' Holding Their Hats images. I only have about a zillion of them. I know...I need another hobby...like squash perhaps.

Anyway, No Shiz is formally petitioning the NYPD to look into a uniform change...that is if they care about the comfort of their officers. Perhaps the NYPD Brass feels their men and women are just so darn tough, they can 'fight terrorism 1 handed'. Despite our differences we still do care about the NYPD officers' comfort here at No Shiz...can't we at least hook them up with something stylish?...like a beret or perhaps a fez.
